O'Brian Edwards
Co-Founder
O’Brian Edwards is an inventive and intuitive co-founder/Executive Director of Raw Academic Services Inc., where he and his wife, India Edwards, create pathways for underserved children to access equitable academic support services. Under his "Get-It-Done" leadership, the organization's first year was outstanding, providing support to over 600 students since May 2024. At least 90% of students reported increased academic achievement, positive social interactions, and overall confidence.
India Edwards
Co-Founder
India Edwards is a highly educated and experienced Special Education professional with a strong focus on Exceptional Student Education and Autism Spectrum Disorders. She holds multiple master's degrees and certifications, demonstrating her commitment to her field. Her distinguished career trajectory reflects a progression from foundational teaching and coordinating roles to influential leadership positions. This journey includes serving as a School-Based Team Leader, where she honed her skills in collaborative problem-solving and program development, and as a Local Education Agent, advocating for students' needs and ensuring compliance with educational standards.

Who Are We?
Raw Academic Services Inc. was founded by the dynamic husband and wife duo, O’Brian and India Edwards. Both are licensed education professionals, holding specialized certifications in Exceptional Student Education (ESE), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Emotional Behavior Disorder (EBD), Mathematics, and the S.P.I.R.E. reading program.
Witnessing the devastating academic impact of the COVID pandemic (2021) on countless students, O’Brian and India began offering free-to-low-cost tutorial enrichment and Social/Emotional Learning services. Their focus was on students aged 4-18 (preK-12th grade) from underserved communities and all ethnic backgrounds. The consistent, high levels of academic production and reported positive behavioral changes seen over the years inspired O’Brian and India to gather a group of advisors and establish the 501C3 non-profit organization, RAW Academic Services, Inc. (RAS)—where RAW proudly stands for “Real Access to Wealth.”
